TATEMS: Fleet Maintenance Software - Update 1-27-2005

Greetings

Here's another update....

Remember, you don't need to apply all previous updates in order to update TATEMS 2005.

So if you missed one you can just use the most current one.

These updates will start to become much less frequent, mostly just to
add new functionality or reports.

We are working on an update to the help manual that will be available
for download when ready.

This update will only work with TATEMS 2005...

In this update I have added/fixed:

1. Fixed Trailer Maint. & Safety Report Preview and Print
   
   
2. Changed Adding Parts To Work Orders To A QuickAdd without having to open the entire Parts Inventory
   
   
3. Changes Adding Employee to Work Order Labor so that when you type in an existing Employee but they are not in the list because they were not checked off as a fleet technician they will be changed
   
   
4. Added function to update the Inspections that were impropery added by a user and removed the ability for the user to add an inspection in the wrong month and year.
   
   
5. Added Tools Menu and Help Menu and moved numerous items into the new menu's
   
   
6. Added NETWORKING to Tools menu to make networking much easier than before.
   
   
7. Added QuickStart to the Help Menu
   
   
8. Added Registration Screen to Help Menu so you can see your serial number without having to restart TATEMS in the next version you will be able to bring this screen up to see both your serial number and registration number for later retreival.

Always make sure you make a backup copy of your data before updating.

The data file to backup is called

TATEMS2005be.mdb and is normally located in the:

C:\Program Files\TATEMS 2005
Folder.

You can just right click on the file and choose copy and then paste it back into the same folder or another folder to create a backup copy.

There is also a backup feature in TATEMS 2005 if you go to File->Backup and Compact Data

This is a front end only download about 2 Megs.

This update requires that you have TATEMS 2005 installed on your computer.

You can get it at :

Make sure TATEMS is closed and then after downloading the file you
can double click it to unzip the files:

into:

C:\Program Files\TATEMS 2005

In this update I have added/fixed:

1. Added "Simplify TATEMS " screen so that you can choose which tabs you want to display. To see it click the "File" menu item at the top of the screen
   
   
2. Fixed Overall Mileage in Fuel Log to exclude entries without a date
   
   
3. Fixed the Setup item to change the 90 Day Inspection Interval so that it changes the tabs and labels correctly
   
   
4. Fixed Completed Mileage/km and Hours fields on Work Orders form
   
   
5. Updated Next Lube Service Query for Reminders so that it only shows due and past due items
   
   
6. Added "Current Mi/Km" to Lube Service Reminders List and Report. So you can see the current miles/km and compare it with the last lube/service
   
   
7. Fixed Periodic Smoke Inspection Interval changes so they don't always reflect 1 year but can be any number of days interval
   
   
8. Fixed Print Current Inspection For Truck and Tractor so that it only prints the current inspection
   
   
9. Added Engine Type To Last/Next Maint Report
   
   
10. Added Out Of Service text to Lube/Service Reports
    
    
11. Added "Wheel Tire Install Location" Form for Dropdown list editing for Tires and Wheels
    
    
12. Added "Department Or Area" Form for Dropdown list editing.
    
    
13. Added auto re-query to all dropdown edit forms so that they re-query the dropdowns when you close the form
    
    
14. Added to new Work Order reports so you can see all work orders pending and complete
